MARK HILLIER

Managing Director

Mark has been involved in collectables longer than he cares to remember! In his early working years he spent 18 years at W H Smith where he progressed and ended up working on the Panini account at W H Smith Distributors as Sales Manager. After the Panini Group was sold to Robert Maxwell, Mark and some colleagues decided they didn’t really want to work for Mr. Maxwell, so he left and co-founded Merlin Publishing Ltd in 1989. The Business was sold to Topps in 1995 and Mark was appointed UK Managing Director. Further stints at Magicbox International, Cards Inc and finally Popco convinced Mark it was time to offer a new and dynamic style of distribution to a knowledgeable and demanding account base, the rest as they say, is history!

Mark is an avid Crystal Palace Fan (probably the only one) and a keen Northampton Saints supporter! He also supports his local charities; this year he’s climbing three mountains in Egypt in three days!

LUKE HILLIER

Sales and Marketing Director

Luke has had a life time involved in collectables. At 7+ years old he would often spend his summers in the Merlin office/warehouses picking orders or stuffing envelopes full of stickers & trading cards, so it’s inevitable his path would take him into this industry!

After finishing his A-Levels Luke started his working life at Cards Inc Ltd spending 8 years with the business where he worked his way up to National Account Manager. In 2009 he came up with a business plan, presented it to Mark (assured him it would work, despite the banking crisis and the worse recession for decades!) and together they have created Click Distribution UK Ltd!

Luke has represented his country at golf and currently has a handicap of 1 (although he’s doing his best to get that up!). He is an avid Northampton Saints & Aston Villa fan and can’t wait to get his young son out on the golf course with him!

DAVE HOWITT

Warehouse & Logistics Manager

The once David Beckham of Birmingham City FC! Dave is a former professional footballer starting his trade at Birmingham City alongside the likes of Trevor Francis, Kenny Burns & Bob Latchford.

Dave moved round (as most footballers do) playing for the likes Aldershot, Bury & Workington. After an alustrious football career Dave moved into logistics (sadly they didn’t pay footballers then like they do now!) working for several large transport companies/courier companies.

Dave is now a key member of the Click team ensuring all of our customers orders arrive on time and exactly as ordered. Dave is still an avid Birmingham Fan & a keen golfer, he says he plays off 11 (never play him for money though!)...Oh and he has his own page on Wikipedia!

After studying at Lincoln and Cardiff universities completing a degree in Sports & Leisure management Nick became a golf professional. He soon realised he was not going to be the next Tiger Woods and had a career change working for golf holiday company. He worked for 2 different golf holiday specialist for over 4 years where he enjoyed the “perks” of having to visit lovely golf resorts around Europe.

Nick was also a Sales Manager at a national health club chain and also completed a personal training course. So he can pass on some exercise tips as well if needed!

Nick is now enjoying life in the Toy Industry! He is a big Northampton Saints fan and as a Tottenham supporter he gets to a few games each season at White Hart Lane (He still has hopes of being a future Tottenham manager!).

LEWI HILLIER

Sales & Marketing Executive

The latest and youngest recruit to Click! Lewi has a great deal of sales and marketing experience gained in an FMCG environment and is looking forward to working in the toy industry. Lewi’s brief will be to develop effective and memorable promotions and marketing initiatives for our products as well as managing some of our independent and multiple customers.

What a year to start at Click, with Euro 2012, London Olympics, Build a Bear, Squash Pod, Bandy Watches and Clay Buddies to mention but a few, it looks like he is going be a very busy guy in the coming months!

Lewi is an Arsenal fan and swings between supporting Northampton Saints and Leicester Tigers depending on who is winning the most games! He is also a mean karting enthusiast, but with a name like Lewis he would be!!
